BREAKING NEWS: ITCICC Hosts Landmark Influencers Meetup in Srinagar Amid Protests

 

In a significant development for Jammu & Kashmir’s digital landscape, the International Trade Council of Influencers and Content Creators (ITCICC) successfully organised the first “ITCICC Jammu & Kashmir Influencers and Content Creators Meetup” in Srinagar on 01 March 2026

 

This Event is a historic moment, as it marks the first industry-level Meetup in the region for Influencers and Content Creators, which is organised by a Registered Trade Council. This initiative has been possible after the removal of Article 370!

 

The Meetup took place under challenging circumstances, where protests were ongoing in parts of Kashmir at the time, and despite a formal request having been made weeks earlier, no official security arrangements were provided for the gathering. Nevertheless, the Council moved forward with the Event and even successfully concluded it. Demonstrating strong commitment towards the Creators of Kashmir, the Chairperson personally attended and chaired the Meeting!

 

Due to the tense and high-risk situation on the streets, only five Creators from Kashmir were able to attend the Meetup. However, their participation highlighted a growing desire among Creators in Kashmir to collaborate, innovate, and contribute to the region’s evolving Digital Economy!

International Trade Council of Influencers and Content Creators (ITCICC) organised its 2nd Meetup in Rajkot, with Nano-Micro-Small Influencers of Rajkot, on 08 February, 2026, before formally opening up the Membership of the “ITCICC Rajkot Chapter”, to understand their problems and challenges, and what the Council may be do to help them overcome those. ITCICC is fully committed to represent the interests of all the Stakeholders of the Creator Economy, and this Meetup is a glimpse of that

The first ITCICC Rajkot Influencers and Content Creators Meetup, after the formal Registration of the Council was held on 06 December, 2025 under the aegis of ITCICC in Rajkot, Gujarat, India

Phase 2 of Rajkot Influencers and Content Creators Meetup was held in Rajkot, on 29 March, 2025 under the aegis of ITCICC

 

Detailed discussions regarding market opportunities, challenges, scope for growth and development were undertaken. Topics of The International Sports and Entertainment Zone (ISEZA) launched by the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), and opportunities for Creators in the assignments of British High Commission were also discussed

 

The Phase 2 summed up the First ITCICC Rajkot Influencers and Content Creators Meetup. Overall, a grand success! The Creators openly shared their insights, experiences and suggestions
